General Questions
To create an account, click the "Login" button on the top navigation bar, then select the "Sign Up" tab. You can sign up using your email and a password, or use your Google or Facebook account for a faster process. We recommend using your student email for verification purposes.
On the Login page, you will find a "Forgot Password?" link. Click it and follow the instructions to reset your password via email.
For Buyers
You can use the search bar at the top of the page to look for specific items. You can also use the filter icon next to the search bar to narrow down your results by category, price range, and star rating.
On each product page, there will be a button to "Contact Seller" or "Ask a Question". This will open a direct message channel with the seller. For general inquiries, you can also use the public "Broadcast" Q&A feature.
For Sellers
Once you are logged in, click the "Sell a Product" link in the navigation bar. This will take you to a simple form where you can enter your product's name, price, description, and upload an image. After submission, your product will be live on the marketplace.
Currently, LASU e-Market is a free platform for students to trade. We do not charge any listing fees or take a commission on sales. This is subject to change in the future as the platform grows.
Trust & Safety
We encourage all users to be verified students. Look for a "Verified Student" badge on a seller's profile. Always check seller ratings and reviews from other buyers. We recommend meeting in safe, public places on campus for transactions.
On every product and profile page, there is a report button (usually represented by a flag icon). Please use this to notify our moderation team of any policy violations or suspicious activity. Provide as much detail as possible.
